Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Date Sprint (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our speed dating event platform (the “Service”). If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the Service.
Who we are
Information we collect
- Registration details such as your name, email address, age (optional), and event category selection.
- Answers to event-specific questions (which may vary by event and can include free text or selected options).
- Support communications you send to us.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We may store payment-related identifiers (for example, Stripe checkout session IDs or payment intent IDs) to confirm your registration and handle support/refunds.
Like most services, we and our hosting providers may automatically receive certain technical information when you use the Service, such as IP address, device/browser information, and logs relating to requests and errors.
How we use information
- Provide the Service (event listings, registration, waitlist, and confirmations).
- Process payments and confirm registrations.
- Send transactional emails (e.g., confirmations, waitlist updates, cancellation).
- Operate and secure the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with the following service providers (acting as processors):
- Supabase (database and authentication) to store event and registration records.
- Stripe (payment processing) to process payments.
- Resend (email delivery) to send transactional emails.
- Vercel (hosting) to deliver the website and run server functions.
We may also share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, keep records of registrations and payments, resolve disputes, and comply with legal and accounting requirements. We may anonymize or delete information when it is no longer needed.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. For example, we limit access to administrative tools and store cancellation tokens in a hashed form. However, no system can be 100% secure.
Your choices
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law. If you registered for an event, you may also have a cancellation link provided by email (when available).
Children
The Service is not intended for children. Do not use the Service if you are under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
